I firmly believe that we meet people in life for a reason and that external relationships are a mirror of the internal relationship we have with ourselves.
In the same way that our thoughts attract our reality in life, the thoughts we have about our self will attract a certain type of partner. It was only when I learnt to truly love, accept myself and realise my worth, that I attracted a man who was worth having a relationship with.
We don’t meet people by chance; every single person we meet will help to teach us the lessons we need to learn to grow and develop in this lifetime. Sometimes we need to experience the bad to realise what good feels like!
We all have lessons that we can learn from love and relationships, whether we are single or in a relationship, what better time to reflect on the good, the bad and the ugly lessons we can learn from these experiences than on Valentine’s Day?
The perfect weekend destination and just 2 hours via the Eurostar from London, Paris is a firm favourite for couples, hipsters and those wanting a city break within easy reach.
Like London, Paris is consistently evolving, and my recent trip introduced me to some new hotspots in the capital.
Here are my top travel tips while visiting the city.
Where To Eat
You are spolit for choice in Paris for food. The city boasts many healthier eateries then my last visit 5 years back. Perfect for balancing out the indulgent meals and croissants.
Leading the way on the ‘indulgent’ eateries currently is Balagan. Paris’s answer to London’s nopi. Located just off Rue Saint-Honoré, its Jerusalem-style clash with Moroccan-Isreli style cooking washed down with vibrant cocktails is a must visit.
For those working on the go, Hardware Société is unashamedibly cool and perfect for brunch. The wild mushrooms, with hazelnut crumb, poached eggs on sourdough and roast cauliflower foam is THE best brunch dish I’ve ever had.
Yoga is very simple, but it can completely transform your life and do wonders for your health. While some people think of it as a set of breathing exercises, yogis can confirm that it is so much more. It will not only clean up your mind, but it will make your body stronger and agile.
These are just some of the benefits of yoga that will enrich your life and help you become the best version of yourself.
You will be more flexible
Yoga will make your body more flexible, and your balance will be outstanding. It is an activity that works your entire body, so you will notice your muscles becoming stronger and more defined. Start slowly and use easier poses (or modifications) which will increase your range of motion over time.
