Though The Matrix came out a while ago, the options haven’t changed, and the matrix still exists. What’s changed is the thinking that we don’t have a choice in the matter.

We just go along humdrum in the same routine allowing adulting, life’s situations, and people, to dupe us into believing that we are powerless and have no control over our happiness. Instead of seeing that we have a choice, we get suckered into believing that the decisions are automatic or this is what “you must do” or “this happened, so I had to.”
